What is NDIS Support Coordination?
Support coordination is NDIS-funded assistance that helps you understand and use your plan. Your support coordinator connects you with providers, sorts out service agreements, resolves issues, and builds your confidence to manage more of your supports over time.
What is the difference between Level 2 and Level 3 support coordination?
Level 2 (Coordination of Supports) helps with day-to-day plan implementation and connecting you with providers. Level 3 (Specialist Support Coordination) is for more complex situations — such as crisis support, multiple providers, or higher-risk circumstances — and is delivered by a specialist coordinator.
Do I need a referral to access support coordination?
No — you don't need a referral to reach out to us. If support coordination is included in your NDIS plan, you can choose your own provider directly. We're also happy to work alongside any referral from a coordinator, GP or allied health professional.
Am I eligible for support coordination?
Eligibility depends on what's funded in your individual NDIS plan. If you're not sure whether you have funding for it, get in touch — we can help you understand your plan and what's available to you.
What is the difference between a support coordination and a plan manager?
A support coordinator helps you implement and coordinate your supports and connect with providers. A plan manager handles the financial side — processing invoices and paying providers on your behalf. Amaze Abilities focuses on support coordination and direct support delivery.
How much does NDIS support coordination cost?
All our services are delivered in line with the NDIS Price Guide, so there are no hidden or out-of-pocket costs for services covered by your plan funding.
Are you a plan managed, self managed or NDIA-managed provider?
We work with participants across all three plan management types — plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed (agency-managed). Get in touch and we'll confirm what works with your specific plan.
Can I switch NDIS providers if I'm not happy with my current one?
Yes. You have full choice and control over your NDIS providers, and you're free to change support coordinators or support workers at any time. We can help make the switch smooth with minimal disruption to your support.

How quickly can support start up once I sign up?
It depends on your needs and support availability in your area, but we move as quickly as we can — we know waiting can be stressful, especially if you're without support right now.
Can family members or carers be involved in the process?
Absolutely. We welcome family members, carers and advocates being as involved as the particpant would like - this is always led by the participants preference.

Do you provide high intensity support for complex needs?
Yes — our High Intensity Support workers are trained in complex care needs and work closely with your allied health team to deliver safe, consistent support.
Can you help with my NDIS plan review?
Yes — we help you prepare evidence, reflect on what's working and what isn't, and present your case clearly, so your plan review reflects your actual goals and needs.
I'm a support worker or coordinator wanting to refer a participant — how does that work?
