ABOUT THE ROLE
Title: Disability Support Worker
Location: North & South Brisbane, QLD
Salary: $40-45 per hour + Penalty rate
Employment Type: Casual
Amaze Abilities is looking for compassionate, experienced, and reliable Support Workers to join our team.
We support NDIS participants with complex physical, medical, and behavioral needs and are seeking team members who are confident in providing high-quality, person-centered care in the home and community.
About the Role:
• Provide high intensity supports such as seizure management, PEG feeding, catheter care, medication administration, and behavior support
• Deliver personal care and assist with daily living activities
• Support community participation and transport
• Maintain clear documentation and communicate effectively with the team and families
To be successful, you'll have:
✔ Relevant experience in high intensity supports
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check, Blue Card & National Police Check
✔ Current First Aid & CPR
✔ Completion (or willingness to complete) High Intensity Support education modules
✔ Manual Handling training (preferred)
✔ Driver's license and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
✔ Minimum 1 years' experience in high intensity disability or aged care supports
✔ Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), Community Services, or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential)
✔ Full working rights in Australia
